Firewood serving tray

This is another leftovers project.

I received some small pieces of firewood from friends that looked very promising.

But since only a small part was usable due to worms and bad storing I resorted to cutting very thin slices and glue them onto a baseboard.

To hide my sacrilege I used some contrasting oak to make some edge banding.
