Experimental plywood cutting board

This is a nice project to use up all those little plywood scraps.

After cutting everything to the same dimensions I ended up with around 70 small blocks that I glued up in 5 tedious hours in a herringbone configuration.

This blank could then be squared up on the table saw and sanded smooth.

Even tho this took forever it was well worth the effort.

After applying some wax as a finish I ended up with quite a unique cutting board, and most importantly my mother, who got it as a present, loves it as well :)
