DIY Longboard

After getting a taste of my roommates Longboard I knew I had to get one of my own.

But instead of buying one I obviously had to make my own, if only for the challenge.

I used plys of birch veneer pressed onto my roommates board to copy the shape of his one, and also because I really didn't want to make a dedicated press.

For looks I used a dark stain and also painted a wolf logo on the bottom.

Now by building the deck myself I probably saved around 20€.

This is totally not worth it if you calculate the time it took and the mess it made, but it's another experience and skill learned, so that doesn't really matter to me :D
