Wordclock V2.0
This is the second version of my wordclock.
Compared to the first version this one is bigger, got a simpler control and features a build in hanging system.
Ducky the tape dispenser aka. Ducktape
What started out as a project to practice my CNC skills really grew on me!
There is something about the simplicity that i really enjoy.
If you want to own your own Ducktape you can buy one here and support me at the same time.
Serving board made from reclaimed firewood
While I was at friends house I noticed some really pretty wood in really bad shape in their firewood stack.
After they agreed I could have it and planing it down some beautiful wood grain exposed itself, so I decided to use it to make a Christmas gift.
If you would like to see how I made it you can click here.
And if you just want some more information and pictures you can click here.
Drill only planter
The challenger I gave myself for this project was to build a project using minimal power tools, in this case only a drill.
The result are three different wooden planters.

Serving tray from hardwood scraps
This is a serving tray I made by slicing up leftover hardwood scraps into really thin strips using a band saw and gluing them onto a piece of ply wood.
The final dimensions 45 X 25 cm.
Kitchen knife
Because is enjoyed making the first knife so much, I started right away on another one.
This time with a more organically shaped handle that feels much better in the hand.
Even tho I could use the knife to shave right now, only time will tell if it will hold an edge.
Marking knife
My first experiment with making knifes.
The blade is made from an old saw blade and the handle from solid oak.
The only tools used were an angle grinder and my DIY disc sander.
I'm sure this wont be the last time I made a knife!
Display case for trash shark movies
Everybody knows the only movies worth watching, are movies involving giant, mutated sharks and other creatures that escaped from a failed military
experiment!
Old blade; new handle
Since my favorite knife fell apart I decided to salvage the blade and remake the handle from oak.
This was a great exercise to practice making knife handles.
"On air FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT" LED sign
This was a job for a production company.
The box has LED's on the inside and can be turned on/off remotely.
In comparison to my first try this one came out a lot thinner and looking more refined.
Experimental cutting board made plywood
The gift I made for mothers day 2017.
A very pretty, heavy cutting board with an interesting look
Herringbone end grain oak cutting board
A very heavy cutting board made from oak.
It wasn't only hard to make but also extremely time consuming. The end result is beautiful tho.
Wall mounted projector holder
This was meant as a replacement for my crappy mount.
The new plywood version is much more stable and versatile.
ON AIR sign
This was a commission from my employer for a remotely controlled "On Air" sign to ensure a quiet work space during recordings.
DIY Longboard
Why buy a longboard when you can spend a ton of hours building one without actually saving money?
Wordclock 25X25 cm
My try on a solid birch wordclock, that displays the time in writing.
Custom PCB and the most time consuming method for programming and soldering included.
More pictures and information here.
Coin and epoxy bedside table
Something special for my little brothers birthday: A small bedside table out of Oak.
Encapsulated into the top are coins, which display his company's logo.
Here is a video from the build.

iPhone docking station
This iPhone docking station includes a passive Amplifier on the front side.
It doesn't only make a for a stylish appearance on desk, but also amplifies the sound of alarms and music for example
Cupboard for my dart board made from solid oak.
Every dart board deserves an elegant home.
This one is made from solid oak and patted out with red felt.
Bread cutting board
Annoyed with all the bread crumbs all over the counter I finally dedicated an afternoon to make a cutting board dedicated for bread.
Washing machine cover
This was a project for my neighbor.
She wanted something to cover up her washing machine and also to extend her working surface.
Since the last piece was too short for the entire top, i had to improvise by using some contrasting oak.
Hunting trophy
Got myself a trophy to hang on the wall. Since I'm not interested in hunting, this made a lot more sense to me.
Longboard mount
Having too many long boards laying around simply gets annoying, so using this solution one gains a lot of floor space and also eliminates the risk of accidents.
Mount for spare monitor
I got a hold of a broken monitor, that needed a new mount after I was done fixing it.
This was a nice afternoon project that used up a bunch of leftover plywood.
Wooden "Settlers of Catan"
As a longtime "settlers of Catan" player it was only a matter of time before I made a wooden version.
It was also a great way of practicing various skills with the CNC machine!
Magnetic retro bottle opener
I made a bunch of those as gifts.
They make for a great decoration and thanks to a strong magnet the caps get collected right there!

Desktop organizer
A nice gift to keep either post-it notes, pencils, SD-cards or whatever you need organized on your desk.
Hexagon coasters
Just had some fun with scraps.
Wallmount for up to 5 boards
My brother has waaaay to many boards.
To help him keep them organized, I build this relatively simple mount
Cupboard
Just a small project to practice on the bandsaw.
Bench with extra storage underneath
What good is a balcony if there is nowhere to sit?
To combat this problem i build a custom, cheap bench that flips open to store all kind of stuff you rarely need.
